My name is Daisy.After supper last night,I played with Jane—she’s my doll.My sister Sally phoned her school friend.My nun was tired,so she asked Dad,“Can you take the girls to the second floor?They’ve got to go bed now.” Sally and I went up to our room very slowly.We weren’t tired and we wanted to play downstairs.
In our room Dad asked us,“What story shall I read to you?” We wanted a book about animals.But they were long stories and Dad was tired.He read a short story.It was about a pirate who traveled by sea to an island to find some treasure.
Dad was so tired that he slept in our room.Then Sally and I went downstairs.We played a pirate game.Our treasure was a coffee cake.
