Dear Bob Thank you for your last letter asking about our library. Our library is in the center of the school. There is a beautiful garden in front of it and our classroom building is right behind it .The library is big .When you get inside ,you will see many shelves full of books on different subjects .There are also lots of newspapers and magazines. We borrow books and do some reading in the library. According to the rule ,every student can borrow up to 5 books each time and keep them for 10 days .It is open from 9 am to 7pm from Monday to Friday and closed on weekends. 1.两者都对.which are full of books,be full of 是一个词组,表示装满,这里跟在which 后面是定语从句修饰shelves,即书架上装满各种科目的书.去掉which也对,如正确答案,full of books 修饰shelves,作定语.
2.open,有一个意项是形容词,it is open,即这是开着的.不能用it is opened,因为open做动词的时候是短暂性动词,不能用于被动句,因此此处只能用它的形容词意项.需要注意的是close是可以说it is closed的.
