Good morning ,everybody.I want to tell you about Chinese new year in Hong kong
Chinese new year is a holiday in february
some people travel to china
people in hong kong have a family gathering
we visit our family,we keep our house clean and tidy
we get red packet from parents,auntie and grandmother
we eat Chinese new year pudding ,melon seeds and dumplings
we can see the fireworks at victoria harbor
we also see dragon dancing
I like Chinese new year because i get red packets and we with are another good luck ,we with our friends a luck year

Good Morning everybody. I want to tell you about Chinese New Year in Hong Kong.
This year , Chinese New Year fell on 3rd February which is a public holiday.
Chinese families in Hong Kong get together to celebrate Chinese New Year, which is also known as the Spring Festival. Days or even weeks before the New Year, every family buys presents,decorations,food and new clothes. Houses are cleaned from top to bottom,to sweep away bad luck and to welcome the New Year.
Children receive red packets and presents from their parents, aunts and grandmothers.
Eating New Year's puddings, melon seeds and dumplings is part of the tradition, so is watching dragon dance and fireworks by the Victoria Harbour.
Finally, each and every family member would get together, on New Year's Eve, to have the traditional meal known as "Reunion Meal" (团圆饭).
I really love Chinese New Year because I have the chance to meet some members of the family, who work in far away places.
