I'm very upset,and I need your help.I always thought I was clever.But I just found out that English is really hard for me.I listened to the teacher carefully in class and I did my homework every day.But I still couln't get a good grade.What should I do?Could you give me some advice?

Don't feel so frustrated.You should know that you're not alone.Learning a new language is hard for everyone,and that includes smart people.
Listening to the teacher carefully and doing your homework is one thing,but understanding English is another.
Just like Chinese,you need to understand the words,the grammar,and the basics in order to use English well.
To help improving your English,I would suggest reading short stories in English.I'm sure there are books like that in libraries or bookstores.
Listening to English tapes or CDs help as well.If you have an English book,you could find a book-on-tape or book-on-CD version of it,and listen to it while reading it.
I cannot tell you how much it helps to read out loud.Your English textbook,other English books,or even news articles,are all good "tools" to use.It really helps to develop a natural feeling and flow of English if you do that often and continuously.
