Faced with the question whether it is worthwhile to use computers in schools,many students would probably shake their heads, seeing it as a waste of valuable learning time.However,I will give an affirmative answer without hesitation,because the use of the computers can apparently benefit us in many ways.
To begin with,as the world is rapidly developing,scientific technology become more accessible to students,of which the computer is a up-to-date product.It is a trend that no one can change it.With the help of the computers,students can search resources relevant to their studies.Also,they may relax themselves after class by seeing movies and listening to music,which will in turn contribute to their studies.
Moreover,Sitting in front of a computer and just using a camera and a microphone,one can create his own classroom online.One can be one hundred percent free to set his study goals,select the courses he is genuinely interested in, listen to the teachers he has always wanted to,and pick out the time that is most convenient for him.All the points are better when compared with traditional teaching methods.
Although proper use of computers can be good for the students,we have to guard against the negative factors.Students can be indulged in the computer games,which will upset their regular studies.With the computers,they may gain easy access to the bad sites,which will do harm to their physical and psychological health.In this respect,strong measures should be taken to control the improper use.
In conclusion,when students using the computers,teachers have to give the right instructions,thus leading the students toward a positive direction.
