Alvin Chew is a Partner,International Investments of ACA International.
Alvin started his career in Corporate Advisory with Nikko Merchant Bank in Singapore,and subsequently,moved to a Hong Kong based Corporate Finance house where he was part of the team which was involved in the bidding for an Indonesian Bank under IBRA restructuring program.
Alvin then joined Keppel T&T Ltd as Corporate Development Manager where he was principally involved in the development of the Group's strategic plans and Equity Capital Market activities.He also oversees the Group's quoted and unquoted investment portfolio.Additionally,Alvin also served as Secretary to the Group's Divestment and New Investment Committee of the Group's Board of Directors.
He later joined ICH in May 2006 and principally engineered the first Chinese Company to be listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and has participated in numerous private equity investment & advisory projects in North Asia,particularly in China.
Recent transactions* include OTO Holdings Ltd (S$85mil),YangzijiangShipbuilding (S$3.0bn),Sinostar PEC (S$250),China Sinsine(S$168m),Sunvic Chemical (S$200m),Sunmart Holdings (S$104m) and CMZ Holdings (S$72m).
