When the terms of delivery are stated as FOB and booked as 20ft container by the factory /
vendor,they may be asked to deliver into KN CFS depending on the situation:
Homebase and Habitat:Qingdao / Nansha
Qingdao:
a) All shipments below 22.000cbm which are booked as either a 20ft or pure LCL are to be
considered part of the normal consolidation program and the supplier has to pay all CFS charges
as if a normal buyers consol LCL shipment.
b) All shipment with 22.000 cbm or above and booked as 20ft will be checked by K+N:
1.If there is another 20ft booking or other CFS booking received by K+N 12 days prior to
the CY closing and to be shipped in the same week,K+N will request supplier to
change the booking from CY/CY to CFS/CY and deliver the cargo to K+N CFS.
2.If there isn’t any 20ft booking or other CFS booking received by K+N 12 days prior to
the CY closing and to be shipped in the same week,K+N will proceed to the 20ft
CY/CY booking as planned.
c) For Point 1,supplier only has to pay as if shipping a FCL 20ft container (*max conversion
volume for 20’ container is 33.000cbm).Supplier should pay the local CFS charges for overflow
volumes,e.g.Actual volume our CFS measured as 35cbm; Supplier should then pay a FCL 20’
local charges (33cbm) + 2cbm of CFS charges (min.1 cbm).
Nansha:
a) All shipments below 22.000cbm which are booked as either a 20’ or pure LCL are to be
checked with Homebase / Habitat if they are to ship as 20’ft ex Nansha,or change the port of
loading to Yantian as CFS/CY
b) All shipment with 22.000 cbm or above and booked as 20ft will be checked by K+N:
1.If there is another 20ft booking received by K+N 12 days prior to the CY closing and to
be shipped in the same week,K+N will request supplier to change the booking from
CY/CY to CFS/CY and deliver the cargo to K+N CFS.
2.If there isn’t any 20ft booking received by K+N 12 days prior to the CY closing and to
be shipped in the same week,K+N will proceed to the 20ft CY/CY booking as planned.
c) For Point 1,supplier only has to pay as if shipping a FCL 20ft container (*max conversion
volume for 20’ container is 33cbm).Supplier should pay the local CFS charges for overflow
volumes,e.g.Actual volume our CFS measured as 35cbm; Supplier should then pay a FCL 20’

Homebase and Habitat
The only exceptions to this program for Homebase and Habitat are:
- Weight out containers Over 16,000kgs per container
- Cat 53 containers (Curtain Fittings)
