Euphemism initially originated from avoiding taboo expressions.In the primitive society with extremely low productivity,the people were unable to fend against natural disasters and explain some of the natural phenomena,so they ultimately indulged in superstitions and religions.As a consequence,people did not dare to offend their gods,ghosts and spirits in the course of their social activities from which many taboos were created.
