一个关于由年过半百的退休老人组成的老年合唱团“young heart”的纪录片.片子刚开始看到那些年迈多病的老人们纵情摇滚的时候,便觉得眼睛湿湿的,心头软软的.他们中最老的Ellen在制片的时候已经92 岁,就是那个开片在舞台上“歇斯底里”的大喊,punk的口吻说唱"darling, you got to let me know, should i stay or should i go"的老奶奶.当一个核心的成员joe不幸因为癌症突然去世的时候,第二天便是这个老年摇滚合唱团第一次正式登台演出,大家都沉浸在无限的悲伤无心准备,Eilleen却说,“我很难过,但是这不会影响我的表演.我想joe希望我们成功的演出.我原来就跟大家说,如果哪天我离开了,我会坐在彩虹上看着你们继续表演,我会一直跟大家在一起……” 这位老人在2007年七月份已经去世.从1982创立开始,这些青春依旧快乐无边的从75岁到92岁的老年人从未停歇过歌唱与创新,尝试了包括punk, sould and rock的风格,翻唱了很多乐队的曲目,包括beatles, james brown, coldplay, sonic youth等等,他们歌唱青春、爱情、生活、人生；他们为曾经一起欢声笑语纵情歌唱但逐一去世离开的朋友歌唱；他们的音乐会上,男女老少的观众为他们感动、痴迷、落泪、欢畅……
